The past week or so I've had trouble concentrating on writing blog post and reviews. I've even had trouble sitting down to read or watch TV. Instead, to distract myself from stressing out, I've been listening to audiobooks while cleaning, pacing and just moving around. I've basically been doing anything but relax. Life is shitty sometimes for no reason and it's making me very anxious. Even this short update is making me want to smash something in frustration for not being able to sit down and be eloquent in expressing my frustration with myself. What a sentence. The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue follows Henry "Monty" Montague on his Grand Tour around Europe accompanied by his sister and his best friend. But what he thought was going to be one big party, turns into something much more exciting and complicated. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 stars. Initially, I wasn't overly interested in reading The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue. But after finishing the last book in the To All The Boys I've Loved Before trilogy by Jenny Han, I wanted to read something that was both fun and romantic. Top Five: Favorite Audiobook Narrators
One of my favorite activities is to go for a walk while listening to an audiobook. Hell, I like listening when I clean, empty the dishwasher, do laundry, really just when I'm doing something potentially boring. It's a great way to be productive while at the same time being absorbed in a book and let's be real, if you're reading this that is what you love most. But the enjoyment of an audiobook often depends as much on the performance of the narrator as the actual story.
