Challenges
The instagram challenge of the day was to take a picture of a favorite classic (#btatoldfave). As always, I had a hard time choosing which book to use, in the end I went with Crow: From the Life and Songs of the Crow by Ted Hughes. I've only read this poetry collection once, but it took me by storm and I definitely want to reread it soon.
Reading
I started and finished Bintiby Nnedi Okorafor, which completes two challenges. Those being the one I intended to read it for, a book about characters very different than you, and read a book in one day. Now I kind of want to read the second in this novella series during BookTube-A-Thon as well.
After finishing Binti, I picked up One of Us is Lying by Karen M. McManus, which is my book with a person on the cover. I'm about halfway or a little over halfway through, and I'm loving it so far. It's advertised as a mix between The Breakfast Club and Pretty Little Liars, which is totally accurate. Probably the most accurate pop culture referencing description of any book I've read. It's a mystery that's perfect for a readathon, because you just need to keep reading to find out how the dots connect.
